Donnelly Shows True Colors by Announcing “No” Vote on Kavanaugh, Sides with Abortion Lobby

September 28, 2018

Fichter: “Hoosiers will remember Donnelly’s betrayal of his constituents at the ballot box.”

WASHINGTON – Indiana Right to Life Political Action Committee (PAC) Chairman Mike Fichter issued the following statement upon Sen. Joe Donnelly’s (D-IN) announcement that he will vote against U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh:

“Sen. Joe Donnelly is showing his true colors by announcing he is a ‘no’ vote on U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Donnelly is listening to the Democratic party’s far-left leadership, like Chuck Schumer and Dianne Feinstein, and the abortion lobby instead of Hoosiers.

“Polling shows the majority of Hoosiers want the Senate to confirm the choice of pro-life President Donald Trump. It was an opening on the Supreme Court that brought so many Hoosiers out on Election Day 2016, and Hoosiers will again show up this November when Donnelly is on the ballot. Hoosiers will remember Donnelly’s betrayal of his constituents at the ballot box.”
