National Affiliation

Indiana Right to Life is affiliated with the National Right to Life Committee based in Washington, D.C..   The National Right to Life Commitete was founded in 1973 in response to two United States Supreme Court decisions, Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton, that legalized abortion on demand in all 50 states.

Since its official beginning, the National Right to Life Committee has grown to represent over 3,000 chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.   

The ulitmate goal of the National Right to Life Committee is to restore legal protection for all human life.   Its primary focus is on abortion and on medical ethics as it relates to euthanasia and infanticide.

The National Right to Life Committee maintains a lobbying presence on Capitol Hill and serves as a resource provider for state affiliates, local chapters, individual members, the press, and the public.
